OGTC has been organising International Conferences on Apparel & Home Textiles since inception. The 5^th International Conference on Apparel and Home Textiles (ICAHT-09) was organized on 18^th – 19^th September, 2009. This conference was attended by industry captains and professionals from Garment Industry and Eminent Speakers from Bangladesh, Hong-Kong, Sri-Lanka, USA UK and Canada. Almost all the leading academic institutes like NIFT, Pearl Academy of Fashion, Lady Irwin College, AEPC Apparel Institute participated.      

A total of 365 delegates and guests attended the conference.

The souvenir was released by Dr. J. N. Singh, Jt. Sec. Ministry of Textiles, Mr. Premal Udani, chairman IAM and

Mr. Rakesh Vaid chairman AEPC.2000 copies of conference souvenir are distributed. The souvenir had over 20 articles.

The souvenir will be released on the occasion of 6^th International Conference on Apparel and Home Textiles

(ICAHT-10). The souvenir will contain Vital Textile Statistics and Conference Presentations. The souvenir will be distributed to all concerned Govt. Depts., Ministries, Academic Institutes, Research Associations, Buying Houses, Delegates, Leading Manufactures, Exporters and other stake holders in the supply chain. Over the period these conference souvenirs are used as Reference Books for articles and sourcing information.
